Boiling

After some chores in the morning while the heat was still bearable, I didn’t do much today. It was way too hot to go out (up to 36°C in the afternoon).
So I gave myself a day off. I finished a project yesterday, and the next one isn’t very urgent. 

So Chaiyya and I lounged on the sofa together. I read my book while she dreamed of something exciting and snuggled up to my feet. 

Now in the late afternoon, thunderstorms are brewing all around us, but so far all those clouds are drifting away to drop their water somewhere else.
