Hanmer

I really didn't want to go to Hanmer today. I really wanted to pootle around and do some work and play it safe.

However, I was encouraged to go and, do you know what? I'm glad I did.

I had a lovely time. I had lunch with some friends, bumped into some lovely students and then took a lonesome walk up Conical Hill. I took this at the top. Then we drove back to Rangiora.

Cousteau and I are at Helen's again tonight and it's been warm and cosy.

I have smiled a lot today. :)
