Lunchtime at our local Lounge Bar.

I think my cold symptoms yesterday are probably hay fever, thankfully. I have just taken another antihistamine tablet.
We walked up to our local shops earlier on, after I’d done the morning exercises for my back, and sat with the ice pack for 20 minutes!
I have to admit it is still hard walking but after a sit down and a cold refreshing drink in the Renato Lounge, it settled down. It was however just as hard walking back but good to be out in the breezy warm sunshine.
I needed to buy some cards as my cousin, who lives up in West Cumbria in Whitehaven, sent me a message the other day to say that her husband had died suddenly. He had suffered from dementia for several years too.
I remember when they got engaged and was really excited to be a bridesmaid, along with my sister, at their wedding over 60 years ago now in Workington.
He was such a lovely man. They have two sons and grandchildren who all live and work in West Cumbria which is a very close knit community.
The other card is a birthday card, coming up over Bank Holiday.
Here I am beginning to feel drowsy, probably due to the antihistamine. Sleep is improving just not as comfortable as I would like.
Gradually catching up on your blips.
Fantastic photo of the Aurora over Derwentwater taken by blipper Technophobe last night. Here’s the link. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3269932163528658052
