Puppies
Another beautiful morning, slightly misty but still warm. The campers were content with their nights sleep and had their day planned.
Myself, Dippy and Luna had a long stroll around the field and popped in to see my good friend Woody at Coombe farm down in the valley. He mends and constructs stained glass windows when he’s not chasing his goats, chickens or sheep back from where they shouldn’t be.
A genuine peppermint tea was enjoyed outside on a rustic bench in warm sunshine.
A phone call to inform me that my reading glasses were ready for collection.
The walk back involved enticing one of the large piglets back into its pen which fortunately didn’t take too long.
Off to Torrington for a few items and collect my reading glasses , Mick who generally lives in Florida’ and sails yachts around the Caribbean joined me to see what the surrounding town looked like.
A full campsite required some pleasant interaction before we all sat down around the large table in the kitchen eating apple cake and double cream.
