This Morning’s Light….

It was lovely to be able get out with Maisie for a short walk early this morning. It was nice to see friends even though I kept a safe distance from them. There was a heavy frost and the grass was crunchy underfoot. I was well rugged up to keep warm. Today’s Covid-19 test was positive showing I am still likely to be infectious. However I am starting to feel much better.
Sunshine followed the frost. I lit the wood stove fire and kept it burning all day. Very cosy. My gratitude for today: Having nice dry pine and gum firewood to use in the wood stove.
