'Spectacular'

My 2nd pair of glasses are ready.. the old frames with the all singing and dancing lenses ( varifocal and transitional lenses )
I was going to wait till next week when my new frames arrive but decided I d go , just to check they are OK. 

So another trip to Ulverston which is no hardship as its a pleasant  place to wander..

Phew they are OK and the prescription seems right.. finally. 

I bought a Greg's sausage roll to celebrate.  

The journey back took twice as long as I forgot about the roadworks at Mill brow.. ( they've been there for weeks ) The 3 way traffic lights are very slow. Took 15 minutes to get through. Note to self: go via the coast road next time
