Chateau La Foret (1840)

We arrived at our campsite in the Vendee just as the heavens opened. For two days. It was cold, wet and miserable. We wondered if we'd made a mistake. But the campsite had potential. Being situated in the grounds of this characterful chateau was certainly different.
