Oystercatchers

Saw these guys from the deck..it’s a big crop.  Simple.   Not so many mussels there as they’ve formerly enjoyed.   Think it’s a mom and juvenile (beak not all orange yet nor eye yellow)  You get good view of black head and brown body, 

Cold today.  And gray.   I’m definitely ready to be home.  Many health loose ends to deal with.   But it’s complicated with family coming up next week.… and us taking my boat home,  we need them to do some things!  and they need relaxing time.  So I”m hanging in there these 2 weeks but without a lot of concentration. (and no work)….it’s the way it is.
