Camper Preparations

A wild day if gales, but dry this morning.  Thunder and lightning swept up from mainland UK, brining torrential rain.  Dried up late evening, mist came down, much calmer too.  Still rumbling east of Shetland. 

Up early, got washing out, it didn't take long to dry.  Headed out walkies, popped by Madeline's for a cuppa.  Nipped into Lerwick for shopping.  Picked up Laura, we headed to mam's for lunch.  An exciting afternoon with the thunder storm, it passed quickly.  Walkies before tea, we got soaked!  Working in the shop this evening, surprisingly busy.  Last walkies, then feet up. 

Me and Laura were down helping mam and dad with various jobs, they've been getting ready to head off with the camper on the ferry tonight.  We both got our list of chores to do while they are away.  The camper has been packed well, last on the checklist, the pushbikes.  I gave dad a hand getting them secured to the van, hopeful they'll get a chance for a cycle whilst away.  Dad getting mam's bike ready, Aith, Cunningsburgh.
