Fired up!

Day two saw us head back down to Eilean Donan castle. Not only is it stunningly beautiful but for £13 you can go inside and see the restored interior, personal effects from the owner and even an upside down Union Jack!

Stayed over in a hostel on the shore of Loch Ness. When we arrived there was a céilí in full swing! And this time I had a bed instead of a hammock. Top tip. If offered a hammock to sleep in in the highlands, be sure to ask for a duvet too.
