Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs....

.....it was quite dramatic shortly after breaky with flashes and rumbles. The inevitable heavy rain forced me inside, so i put the finishing touches to Bedroom 1 in the east wing ahead of the new furniture arriving on Wednesday. 

Later, the cloud broke but the humidity also shut-up to equatorial levels and I found the outside projects quite uncomfortable. Faced with unacceptable working conditions, I fired-up the BBQ and made our evening meal instead. 

A book of photos of the old village arrived in the post, I'm looking forward to overlaying old shots with the modern street views. 

Just like that Monday was done.
