Sedilia

On our way home through Lincolnshire there was a crash on the road and after sitting in a traffic jam for about 20 minutes we were diverted through Heckington. We decided to have a break and take a look at St Andrew’s church which is a good example of the gothic decorated style. The sedilia dating from about 1330 has the characteristic curvilinear ogee arches and rich decoration of the late period, beautiful!
