Piazza de Stan Ogden

We started the day with a leisurely breakfast at our hotel, then had a wander across what Radcliffe and Maconie call the Piazza de Stan Ogden in Media City. Sadly, the Lowry Gallery is closed on Mondays - I would like to have taken Mr PB there as he hasn’t been there before. We had a brief visit to the nearby retail outlet before undertaking a boat trip on the local waterways, which was very enjoyable. So different from how I remember Salford and the Manchester Ship Canal from when I was much younger! The interesting building across the water is the Imperial War Museum.
