Thunder and lightning, as promised, this morning! I got a bit wet as I had to pop up to the surgery for a ‘chronic disease’ review blood test. The nurse apologised for the rather alarming ‘chronic disease’ letter I received last week, admitting that the wording is not ideal.

But it was sunny, dry, and warm on the way home, and for the rest of the day. Good for the visitors.

Later, JR took a notion to make banana muffins in the New Toy! I snaffled a couple - for testing purposes - but they were destined for Elizabeth…

Later, the New Toy was in use again - I am going to perfect my chips so that even Hazel, the healthy food guru, won’t be able to resist them. She could have resisted them today - I got them out too early, so excited was I…

I am missing the Olympics.
