a sweltering day in London

The mercury hit 32 in Covent Garden and I’m not sure how we avoided melting! Nonetheless, a wonderful day! Out for brunch at a lovely place Vic has been waiting to try, a tour of Westminster with her ex-colleague (note Isaac’s iconic Rees-Mogg impression on a green bench) and then amazing ice creams. We were all a bit gutted that the Southbank splash park closes on Mondays…. But at least we didn’t end up with wet boys on the train home.
