Room with a view

The Premier Inn wasn’t really telling the truth when they put on the website for this hotel that it is ‘right in Canary Wharf’ . It’s actually not in Canary Wharf at all as I discovered when I ignored the advice of a local to take the DLR and instead followed Citimapper and dragged my very heavy bags out of the zone where everyone is toting Dior/Chanel shopping bags and into less salubrious streets!
There is a good view though… and air con :-)
