During the walk from the boat to the mailbox I experienced a strong headwind. This meant that the deer on the oat field at the forest's edge did not smell nor hear me until I was only less than 10 metres from it. It sure was quick to escape to the forest but I was also prepared with my phone as I have also earlier seen deer on this field.
