Day 196

Nothing really to report apart from woke up looking like I'd been punched in the eye (infection *again*) and back to school for only 4 more days until the big summer hols - yeah!

Today's blip is at 7am when I woke to find I had two little visitors who'd sneaked into my bed.

Nana popped over for tea, well we quite fancied having a nice meal out but the boy insisted on Maccy's drive thru instead - classy!

Found the boy's end of reception year report hidden in his book bag, and very proud of him indeed. There were no surprises including an 'emerging' mark for listening and attention (surprised it wasn't worse giving I have to repeat myself at least a dozen times.... all the time). Need to help him practice his writing and reading in preparation for Year 1 in Sept, but not gonna worry too much - he's only 5 and so much is learnt through experience and living life. There will be plenty of homework next year I'm sure.
