Saw The Police /Sting story on Monday and loved it. My oldest pal is their biggest fan so she was the first person I texted to say YOU GOTTA SEE THIS
She booked for today at 7pm exactly the same time as my tix for the closing night gig in North Berwick

Dilemma. Do I let one set of friends down or take the chance to see our favourite band with Rachel? Thinking she has been so poorly this may never happen again.
On that basis I was good friend bad friend

After a big Yellowcraig to NB walk, granola bar I texted one set of pals and dingied them, politely. Of course everyone understood!
Great success. Successfully surprised Rachel and she loved the gig. Lots of tears throughout, as she wore her Stewart Copeland for president T-shirt, ( always had a massive crush on SC) the night was phenomenal. A cheeky instagram request, they played her favourite song, more tears.
All in all an emotional brilliant night. We worked out the last time we were able to go out together was over ten years ago and last year it looked like there wouldn’t be another.
Seize life!
