MonoMonday: Memory
There's nothing like old photo albums for bringing back memories. (Thanks for hosting this week 60plus).
59 has handed on a couple of boxes of them from our parents. I haven't looked at many yet but this is one of my favourites so far.
Dad loved fishing, Mum tolerated it; but this day she definitely beat him at his own game. They lived in dry, western NSW so this was obviously a special day out on a boat somewhere. I note he has annotated it "Mug's Luck".
It's a bit of an EB after another medical trip to Sydney. I had a steroid injection into my spine in the hope of relieving some of the back pain and sciatica which has been plaguing me for the last couple of years. I am aware that results are variable but it's probably worth a try.
I must say we are very impressed with the efficiency we have been receiving at RNSH Private Hospital recently (we just about qualify for Frequent Flyer points). I had an X-ray and then the procedure booked for 9:15. I arrived just before 9 and was out by 9:45. That's pretty typical of the service there.
Then we called to see Helen and the twins on the way home. She got a call from the builder doing their renovations asking her to change the floor wastes which didn't fit and buy some more grout! We couldn't believe it as there is supposed to be a "Project Manager", but we delayed our trip home by a couple of hours so she could sort it our without having to take the twins.
It was actually a bonus as I read to them most of the time and really enjoyed it. They are both so interested and responsive.
