Went kayaking

I went kayaking today. The sun was out. The temperature was reasonable. All the nice apple cider vinegar and B vitamin (?) but I was not devoured by mosquitos. Had a fantastic, extended conversation about lots of things. I did NOT bring my camera to the boat, remembering that once Kwtracey lost hers that way. Did NOT get a picture of the heron just hanging out, really close, in the tree slightly above the water, not caring that we went right by. 

Ukraine is STILL IN RUSSIA. Day SIX. “Instead of lamenting Russia’s advances on the eastern front every day, Ukrainians are eagerly monitoring — and snickering at — the news of their troops pushing deeper and deeper into Russia’s Kursk region, which borders Ukraine’s Sumy region.” 

I’m barely seeing it covered in my regular news. 

While Russia is attacking Ukrainian supermarkets, Ukraine is 20 miles inside Russia, destroying convoys and taking Russian soldiers prisoner. “ The moment Ukrainian soldiers made their Russian enemies surrender "en masse" with their hands behind their heads was caught on camera.”

Russia supposedly has a mass YouTube outage as Russian authorities step up criticism of the platform.
The US announced a new $125 million military aid package for Ukraine that would include Stinger missiles, artillery ammunition, and anti-armor systems.
