Personal Church!

The beautiful tower of St Mary's church in Cromford, Matlock, Derbyshire.
This church, by the River Derwent, was built as the personal worshipping place of Richard Arkwright, the famed inventor and entrepreneur who brought the Derwent valley into the Industrial age.
His remains lie there now.
We had a very pleasant session at Willersley Crag and excellent venue for cool and shady climbing in hot weather.
