What still have a few of these pretty flowers in bloom but the heads are quite small and the stems just a few inches off the ground.

A good service at church this morning with most of the holiday makers having returned. Our minister has been very ill and it was so good to see him sitting at the back with his family. He starts a six month course of chemo this week and our prayers are surrounding him and his family.

Too hot for me today ... the kitchen is the coolest, sun free room in the afternoon but it's not really where I want to sit!
