Playing Tourists

A trip to Fountains Abbey this morning. We started off with coffee and a scone. Then a delightful wander round and up to Surprise view to compare the view we had yesterday of Rievaulx Abbey. By the time I was returning to the car visitors were arriving in their droves. Glad we got a relatively early start when both the roads and the Abbey was quieter.
