The first of the cooking apples are almost ready…

……on the new miniature tree Stephen planted last November.
It’s been a hot sunny day. And will be even hotter tomorrow at 29C. I was watering the garden at 8:00am.
Southern France is sweltering in 40C heat!
We haven’t stirred much today being rather tired after all the driving of the past two days.
The evening shadows are now lengthening as the sun will go down at 20:30.
I took the photo at 19:00.
We’ve been out here in the garden almost all day, either in the summerhouse or under the patio umbrella..
Although I must confess to having had a bit of a siesta after lunch.
