MORECAMBE

A trip over to Mum's today.  Popped over to Dunelm as we needed some new pillows, so stayed for coffee and cake.  Back at Mum's by midday. Then did a few chores for her before heading home.

Quite a bit of traffic on the roads but not too bad when we were out.  I confess to going for a walk on Morecamb Beach and going out to where thoses people were.  On the way back I managed to find gungy sand, some of which was black, but still just muddy sand really.  Thank heavens for wet wipes in the car!!!

Saw a lot of classic cars today as there was a classic car show in Grange.  They have one every year, one year I really must go to it.

I did keep an eye out for the red arrows last night but they didn't appear where we could see them - not far  away though as they flew over Haverthwaite on their way up to Penrith and then onto Edinburgh for the tattoo.  Some great shots on here from those lucky enough to see them.  I'm rubbish at  photographing anything in the sky as I can't get the focus right so something I need to learn how to do!!!

Just nw going to watch The Footage Detectives on Channel 82, I love  this programme, so full of nostalgia,  some even beore my time!!!!
