What to Do?

These were one of my bargain purchases from the reclamation yard. I had intended to use them as plant supports in the summer, and in the winter they would give structure to the garden. I've now decided to put them on the patio. The question is. Do I paint them or not? Either way I rather like the patina of rust showing through. I'm in my 'Black' period, where I'm painting everything black! But would they look good in black?

I did rather like the shadows here, which is why I used them for my blip. 

It is pretty hot here at the moment, I'm waiting for wine o'clock. Dinner all prepared (Butter chicken curry), so I can just relax with the cooling fan on my back.
