A quiet Sunday afternoon

With the excitement and bustle of yesterday's steam rally the village was in stark contrast, little road traffic and the main street and shopping area almost deserted.  I did take some village scape images showing just how quiet it was.  Then on the way home from my afternoon walk I encountered this couple enjoying an ice cream.  I asked if I could take their photograph and the lady was highly amused, I am not sure what he thought.  As I left I said that she would remember having this ice cream, she replied that she would.

As the light was so harsh I think monochrome works better than colour.
