Cropredy

I have wanted to go to the Fairport Convention Cropredy Festival for years. This year I finally made it. With bro-in-law and sis ditto spent a very enjoyable day sitting in a field listening to a selection of bands, including Eddie Reader. 

As darkness fell the Fairports came on. Great music. 

During the day there was so much people watching. The dress code seemed to be karma trousers (dull coloured patchwork), a ring through your nose or elsewhere, a big grey beard and your own pewter tankard.

I didnt feel I was fitting in because I didnt have any of the above. 

At twilight the food stalls were still doing a roaring trade (extra)
