Immature Piwakawaka

This morning we took Tsuken and Mrs Tsuken to Huia. We stopped on the way to look at the Lower Tinohopu dam (part of the water supply for Auckland City).

Also stopped at Cornwallis Beach where by chance we met good friends for a short conversation.

Had a further stop at a lookout above the Huia Village. We could see the Manukau Heads beyond which is the Tasman Sea. 

My blip is of an immature Piwakawaka (fantail). Not seen on this angle, it has a stubby tail and no fan.
