From the Snake Pass
A pottering sort of day, mainly because I couldn't raise the energy or enthusiasm to do much. Though I did manage to do a huge amount of washing and hung it out to dry, double-pegged in the hope that it wouldn't end up miles away. Yup, it was extremely windy!
This evening MrM suggested driving down to Glossop, about 12 miles away, in his continuing search for the perfect fish & chips. It was also an opportunity to enjoy some of the beautiful Derbyshire scenery. In the evening light there were some fabulous views, including this one taken from the top of the Snake Road (between Glossop and Sheffield) where the Pennine Way crosses it. Cloudy sky looking out of the window on one side of the van, clear sky on the other (extra).
