Major backblip session
begins here. On the 6th of July. It is today the 15th and I haven't blipped since the 5th of July. And I was doing so well this time. Oh well, I DO have pics to blip for most of those days, just been so damn busy I hadn't got round to it.
Seeing as I'm hoping to use blip as a reminder of what I get up to, I'm going to try and remember the main events from my days I'm back-blipping for. I know this is of no interest to anyone and I should probably be keeping a diary but it's more fun this way.
So 6th of July, was a very very good day. Saturday, gloriously sunny and my last day living in the north of Paris, near Montmartre, which is why I decided to go for a morning coffee at Place des Abbesses, where this photo is taken. It was me and my book, enjoying a lovely peaceful morning, until 2 slightly loopy French men came and sat at the table next to me (one significantly crazier than the other) and for some reason they seemed to think I felt like chatting to them, instead of finishing my book. It might be the fact that in terms of politeness I think my english half rules over my greek half (i.e. I'm not good at being rude). In any case, they were quite entertaining admittedly. Apparently, according to (less) crazy man number 1, (more) crazy man number 2 (who was close to about 70 I'd say) is an extremely talented musician and in his youth was rather famous. Somewhat of a Montmartre royalty. Anyway, thankfully my friend Camilla called me so I escaped and went to meet up with her and her two Swedish friends Maria and Sarah who were visiting. We spent a lovely day, walking around sunny Paris, lazying in cafés and lying under a shady tree in Parc Monceau. I then went back to Elsa's and moved most of my stuff to Eva's. After the move I cycled over to Julia's to say hello seeing as we haven't managed to meet up in ages. I ended up staying the night at hers, which was nice :)
