Acrobats!

Squirrels in Mum’s garden…at one point 3 of them were chasing magpies away!

Saw my brother and his family too and got to see their holiday photos from Centreparcs :)

In not such fun news, while we were picking the last of the blackberries, my darling nephew spotted a deer that had met an unfortunate demise trying to leap over a boundary fence.

My brother got both (understandably upset) kids indoors and I got gloves and bin bags to retrieve the poor thing; my brother came back out with my dad and they dug a grave under the trees. I said a little prayer and placed a green conker in place of a headstone. The kids want to come back with a better grave marker, bless them.
