3512. Perthshire Pride

The Pride parade was going on whilst we were in town today, not a huge turnout but fun nonetheless.  There was one older chap with the usual religious objections to gay marriage on a huge sign waving it at the side of the parade and someone came and waved the rainbow flag next to him but no words were spoken.  I guess tolerance works both ways but it does make me sad when this sort of thing happens as it’s not like the parade does any harm to anyone and if you don’t agree with it, don’t turn up for it.
My eldest is non binary and they have been on the receiving end of many such objections to their very existence over the years so this sort of thoughtless action makes me sad, still, no one seemed to be put out by it from what I could see.
