Saturday cooking
Amongst doing a lot of small jobs today, we have spent time baking and cooking.
Baking is not my strong point, much preferring making savoury starters and mains than sweet things. That said, as you will see Martin and I made a banana and chocolate cake (which everyone seemed to be making during lockdown). It was easy to make and tastes actually quite good (all because I bought some rather ripe bananas from Tesco yesterday).
I’m thinking we could vary it and do strawberry and peach versions also.
Tonight we are back to savoury, making a Moroccan smoky aubergine and pepper tagline with flatbreads and cous cous.
