I know it is Saturday, not Friday, but on my daily wander around the garden I could not resist taking a photo of these two blooms. They are beautiful. 
I also armed myself with some weed killer spray this morning and wandered around most of the "estate". It does include outside the gates, as I can't remember the last time I saw the Council road sweeper around.

Watched some of the Olympics while having lunch before going out into the garden again, this time on a tidy up and weeding after the gardener had trimmed the hedge. I can see the ground now. Even came across Prunella Vulgaris, otherwise known as Self Heal. And I see the Cyclamen have been reproducing, so need to sort and re site some of the corms.
