The calm before the storm.

Someone decided it would be a good idea to see how far they could run in 24 hours. That someone was not me.

Run Sandringham 24 starts in earnest tomorrow at noon. We had a proper recce of the route, which is a five-mile loop, this afternoon; last time we tried, we were thwarted. It’s a lovely route, and coincides with Sandringham parkrun in part. There’ll be no clash, though, because parkrun will be long since packed up by the time Sandringham 24 starts.

We’ll be doing parkrun in the morning, but I must walk because I’m injured, which is bad luck for Mr Pandammonium, who was going to take one last chance to learn to run at my pace.
