Ooooo ... new sunglasses

On Saturday I got a letter from a hospital in London that had been looking at the scan I had in February at the Western General in Edinburgh, and from their terminology, I understood them to say that they had seen three new growths in my lungs. I really had the stuffing knocked out of me, it was a terrible blow, these past three and a half years I've worked so hard to try and contain the cancer - and now it had spread.

I rang my oncologist at the Western this morning to ask him about it, and he explained that no, there hadn't been any new growths, things were as he had explained in February. Oh the relief!

And of course, a girl has to celebrate ...
