Wild competition?

        Some time ago we had a set of mobile Traffic lights while a gang laid a something in as Trench along the Greystoke road.  Once it passed Mile Lane I used to use Mile Lane as my route home; may have been a touch long (never checked), but less boring than sitting awaiting a lights change.
        On one of my returns from Bunker's Hill I stopped and shot these; thinking I might do a spot of seed harvesting towards the pending Flower Meadow, in lieu of a Lawn at back of House.
       I think the wild ones are  more likely to thrive than on of these in the grass?

Apropos of nothing - did you know there are no fewer than five "Mile Lane"s in the World, at least one in "The Land of Oz".
