It finally happened

I placed this makeshift cat bed in the lounge room hoping Emme would use it. It has been interesting to see her different actions over a number of days. Initially ignoring it then sniffing then stepping in and out as she walked around the room and today straight in as if she had always used it. She cleaned her self then slept. I wasn’t sure if she was ever going to use a floor level bed. Well now I know.

My friend G came for morning tea. Her first visit outside family since the end of her chemo and successful cure. A very enjoyable visit and Emme joined in and showed G how to scratch lounges with sharp paws and how to lay under the coffee table and try to pull the table cloth and food down off the table. All was saved.
