Painted Lady

I seldom venture to the far side of the gardens where I have my allotment but I thought I'd have a look around today to see whether anyone has any runner beans yet since mine seem terribly slow. I was delighted to see that someone had planted a whole row of painted lady sweet peas along the wire mesh fence along one side of their plot. No runner beans to be seen.

Good news at lunchtime - my son has been offered a job in Lewes. After 38 applications he is rather pleased.
