Boating!

First time all week for a rowing boat.   Nik wanted to row over to the the park/beach  on Galiano.  Not exactly the best with extra weight like this but they made it.   He could be an excellent rower.  Herb had a swing around but I couldn’t do it.   We seriously considered putting this boat on the top of our car for the trip to Seattle today when we had the perfect help and the rack and dolly was ready but it turned out to be too stressful  (tides, their last day, other things to do, timing, how long can we park the car with boat on?)  So she’s  still here, maybe I’ll get a burst of energy with quiet time.  We are alone to recuperate this week and then the other family will get that job.    So far Bean hasn't jumped in (extra)
Eric made great progress with the railing… another beautiful day.  They leave early in the morning…hopefully with a few “treasures”  too.
