There's a lot of it about..
A very warm day, so it was back to an evening walk for our springer. This time I took the macro lens as I've had my eye on a couple of fields sown with a Phacelia/Buckwheat mix down the road. It seems to be a very popular mix this year - we assume it's been used for green manure as it was too wet to sown the normal crop earlier (and possibly attracted a grant for conservation). By the time we got there the sun was casting longer shadows than I expected, but it was still possible to capture some of the flowers, and even a late-shift worker bee (see extra, along with an overall view along the edge of the field) without walking into the crop.
