The Sun on your Face

There's nothing like it, whether you're a plant or a creature.

I think this is Malva Alcea, or greater musk-mallow. Its a strange location - there's a fairly large woodland near me and in the middle is a derelict house. The grounds are long overgrown, so I don't know whether this is native to the area or a surviving garden plant. It's definitely responding to the bright sunshine  :-).
