Sikorsky Seahawk Refuelling

A calm and misty morning.  As the winds picked up, it cleared the skies, beautiful sunny day, but windy.  Cloudy tonight, with rain.  

Up at 5am, early shift in the airport.  A busy morning of passengers.  I had spells on the check-in desk, also meeting and boarding flights.  Back to the check-in desk in the afternoon.  A curry takeaway for tea.  Poor Sammy, we got soaked out walkies.  Early to bed tonight.

Just as the skies were clearing, we got a helicopter refueller landing, I wasn't expecting this.  A Sikorsky MH-60R Seahawk, N-979.  Part of Royal Danish Airforce, she's a beautiful helicopter and made a lovely sound.  She was down for long, and was soon on her way again.  Taken at Sumburgh Airport.
