Friday

We started today with walk for Hetty. Greenville Park followed by Orangefield Park.

You can see all the surrounding hills of Belfast from the parks. From the H&R's house, you can see the huge, yellow H&W (Harland and Wolff) cranes that are along side the Titanic Museum.

I've been to this house before, we viewed it in April, just before the wedding, but I don't remember the proximity of it.

It seems under a flight path. Probably George Best airport because there haven't been a great number of planes. And we are so close to the ferry that it only took 20 minutes to reach here last night.

We passed the birthplace of Van Morrison nearby. Apparently you have to be dead 20 years before you get an official blue plaque but there's a bronze coloured one on the house. I googled it. Lee Child was the previous occupier before Van's family.

We spent a few hours cleaning and sorting out the court yard then took Hetty out again.

Some parts of Belfast like to fly flags. There was an avenue through Orangefield Park and up and adjacent road.

We are all exhausted.

I've spoken to Florence. She had a call with her doctor. Apparently she was so very kind that Florence became tearful. Chama has been feeding her. Nigel and family live a ten minute walk away and they have all visited her twice already. At least I know she is being looked after.
