Station sculpture..

‘The Tempus Fugit sculpture situated on the former up platform at Templecombe is both a sculpture and sundial. The bronze statue is of a railwayman consulting the British Rail timetable, some of the pages of which have blown away and landed on the grass.’

A well kept station on our journey to Yeovil today. And now I know who the bronze man is!

Simon met us at Yeovil Junction and shared the family’s concerns over Neil. They are all very involved in his daily care with the support of a carer six days a week but are beginning to feel it’s not enough. Really tough and just as Valerie feared for him.

We had a good day though and Neil was happy to recall old memories. Sarah had laid out Valerie’s clothes for us to look at…

The day flew by. Back home by 10.30pm.
