Rocky Road

From a scant description I gave to A this morning - a gate - a bench - the top quarry - she guided the ladies who walked from the village centre - to see the wild orchids - the ones I'd been trying to find again since I first saw them last Thursday.

Part of the walk involved this pathway - laid many years ago - and was used to transport stone from the quarries off the moor by carts.
