Yat Rock

A lovely sunny day, early afternoon I took a drive to Coleford (Gloucestershire, UK) to have a walk around this small town and do a food shop. Just a couple of miles on the way there I pass Yat Rock and I enjoy stopping off to see the views from the viewpoint. The church spire is the distance is in our village facing towards Ross on Wye (Herefordshire)

It's said to be one of the most photographed scenes in England - a tourist snap - but so good to have it on our doorstep: Sometimes you just can't help taking a beautiful view even if it has been done so many times!

We're off out to our local with neighbours tonight as it's a nice evening. It'll see in the weekend and the start to the new football season tomorrow!
