Common Kestrel

We went up to Hitchin Lavender Fields this afternoon. Gorgeous day, but a little bit windy for the sunflowers. They were going crazy. We climbed to the top of the field and I noticed a kestrel on a post. The combine harvester was busy behind him and I think he was waiting for mice and voles to move home. He let me get very close. I got pictures of lavender and sunflowers as well, but this is a bit special.
